I studied at the University of St Andrews, first completing an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Social Anthropology, then a Master's in Management. But honestly, some of my most important learning happened on the water. Sailing consumed me. I competed for the university's first team and the Scottish Student Sailing national team, and kept finding ways to give more back to the sport. Over the years I took on a string of committee roles at both the university club and the Scottish Student Sailing national committee. Off the water, I was Head of Marketing for Enactus St Andrews and sat on the University's Rector Committee as a Creative Consultant. I got a lot from putting my hand up for things before I felt ready.
While completing my master's dissertation, I joined Ascent Platform, a fintech startup building AI-ready tools for U.S. banks and credit unions. What started as a marketing internship grew into something much harder to put in a job title: content, strategy, partnerships, pipeline infrastructure, client case studies, and enough self-taught JavaScript to stop waiting on developers.
Outside of work, I'm currently volunteering with the Global Shapers Edinburgh Hub, a World Economic Forum initiative, working on stakeholder mapping for one of its active projects. I'm still racing too, RS200s across Scotland and team racing events when I can get to them.
I'm currently open to new roles in marketing, business, and strategy. Based in Edinburgh; happy to travel or relocate.
Part of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers network. Currently leading stakeholder mapping for the Equal Air Collaborative in the Edinburgh Hub, working alongside the WEF's Global Future Council on Clean Air to drive clean air advocacy across Scotland.
Competed for the University of St Andrews dinghy first team and the Scottish Student Sailing National Squad. Now racing RS200s at club events across Scotland and showing up for dinghy team racing when the opportunity arises. Currently training for the 2K Team Racing Tour in Helsinki.
